A Bag of Stories is a bi-monthly publication by Afar Bags, created by Ayzoh!. Each issue explores one place, one theme, one way of seeing the world: rediscovering the meaning of travel through real encounters and shared humanity.
The first edition, People of Acupé, takes us to Bahia, Brazil, where Capoeira is more than movement: it is language, memory, and community. Through photographs, words, and illustrations, the book celebrates freedom, dignity, and the beauty of being together. Made with the same care that defines every Afar bag, it invites readers to travel slowly, to listen deeply, and to carry stories that matter.

Discover the vibrant streets of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, through the eyes of talented youth who transform urban spaces into creative playgrounds. Presa Allende is a reservoir, a landscape and a community under pressure. You see contamination, invasive plants, lost jobs and migration. You also see dignity, responsibility and a long tradition of people who act when institutions fail. This book shows a simple truth. When water disappears, life changes. When people work together, life resists.
The stories, the science and the images reveal a fragile place kept alive by those who refuse to give up. Their will to act is the real strength of Presa Allende. Their work protects land, water and community. Their effort turns a local problem into a story with global meaning. This book is for them.
