Some partners don’t need introductions. They arrive quietly, like a familiar presence. Tecla Lab is one of them. Rooted in Torino yet shaped by journeys across Africa and South America, Tecla Lab gives form to something Ayzoh! deeply believes in: everyday objects with soul. Where we tell stories through photography and print, Camilla Garelli speaks through clay. A different language, same vision.
Camilla’s journey → Cultural design across continents, clay gathers memory
Camilla is not just a designer—she’s a cultural practitioner, a traveler across places and disciplines. With a background in Industrial Design and Visual Cultures, she has long moved across continents, working on projects that use art, design, and architecture to support local development.
But it was clay that quietly reshaped her path. Since 2019, she’s been listening to this material, learning from its pace, its patience, its resistance. In clay, she found not just a medium—but a method.
Each piece from Tecla Lab feels like a whisper from another land. A bowl that remembers the curve of a hand. A vessel that holds both water and memory. A plate that carries silence and stories. These are not things to be consumed—they are companions to live with.
Tecla is a living project
It’s a space where materials meet memory. Where hands — local and distant — shape function into beauty. Camilla collaborates with artisans from small communities, restoring dignity and meaning to the act of making. A gesture we recognize, and cherish.
As one of our partners, Tecla Lab offers special benefits to Ayzoh! supporters: generous discounts on all objects and on her ceramic workshops in Torino. But above all, she offers something rare—truth in form, and friendship in fire. We’re proud to shape this shared path, step by step, hand by hand.
