At Ayzoh!, we don’t run photo tours. We build stories. Our field workshops are immersive, collaborative experiences where learning becomes action, and storytelling becomes a tool for justice. Every journey is tied to a real, ongoing project — with small, often overlooked communities that invite us to see the world through their eyes.

Where Stories and Action Meet

These are not simulations or staged encounters. They are living collaborations, where participants contribute their skills — and grow through direct, grounded engagement. Whether you’re a photographer, a filmmaker, a writer, or simply someone hungry to understand, you’ll step into realities rarely accessible from the outside.

What Makes Our Workshops Different?

A Learning Ground Rooted in Reality: You won’t just learn how to tell a story. You’ll learn why stories matter — and how to co-create them with respect and depth. With Ayzoh!, you join a group of professionals with decades of field experience in documentary, social journalism, and community-based storytelling.

Projects, Not Products. Every workshop is anchored in a real-world initiative. Whether it’s documenting indigenous leadership in Latin America or supporting educators in remote African villages, your work will feed into projects that have tangible, long-term impact.

People, Not Destinations. We don’t chase “exotic” scenes. We live alongside communities. We walk, listen, and create together. This is not “impact tourism.” It’s an invitation to rethink your role as a storyteller — and as a human being.

Who It's For

These workshops are designed for those who want more than just a portfolio. No professional background required. What matters is your curiosity, your adaptability, and your respect for the people you’ll meet. They’re for:

How We Travel

We go where the stories live — across Africa, Latin America, and Europe. Each location is chosen for the strength of our local partnerships and the relevance of the ongoing work.

Travel methods vary: we may use cars, public transport, 4x4s, sailboats, or even camels — depending on the land and the people hosting us. Accommodations are simple but chosen with care, always privileging cultural respect and benefit to the local economy.

Your Role in the Field

You won’t be a spectator. You’ll be a part of the team. You’ll document, co-write, record audio, gather testimonies, assist with interviews, or create visual narratives — guided by Ayzoh!’s experienced mentors. You’ll work side-by-side with community leaders, elders, youth, and educators to build stories that matter. You’ll also learn how to:

Why Join Us

No Exploitation, No Exoticism. We reject extractive storytelling. Everything you do will be part of a shared process.

Every Euro Counts. All proceeds from our workshops go back into Ayzoh!’s social initiatives.

Access to the Inaccessible. Thanks to our long-standing relationships, you’ll gain access to worlds that remain closed to most outsiders — and you’ll do so respectfully.

A Movement, Not a Service. As a participant, you’re not buying an experience. You’re joining a movement. You’ll also gain access to members-only events, mentorship, discounts, and publishing opportunities.

Ready to Join the Field?

Every Ayzoh! workshop is a leap into the unknown — not as a thrill, but as a gesture of solidarity. We believe that storytelling can build bridges where systems have built walls.

And we believe that if you’re reading this, maybe you’re ready to help build those bridges with us. So bring a camera (any kind), a notebook, and an open heart. Be more than a traveler. Be part of the story.
