Tissia: Weaving Freedom

Tissia is a project supported by Ayzoh! that was founded in 2007 by Alice Ouedraogo and Veronique Ouedraogo in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Initially, the organization focused on providing microcredit, literacy programs, and social activities to support women from the most disadvantaged segments of the population. In 2019, Tissia expanded its mission with the opening of a textile workshop in the city.
