Join us on the frontlines of change

Discover the power of storytelling with Ayzoh! Work alongside communities to capture their stories and amplify their voices. This isn’t just a journey; it’s a commitment to social justice, unity, and the true essence of visual storytelling.
At Ayzoh!, we open our doors to photographers, journalists, bloggers, documentarians, researchers, and passionate travelers who are eager to contribute to our mission. Our field projects offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of storytelling, while immersing yourself in the spirit of the places and communities we work with.

Travel facts

This isn’t about tourism or collecting superficial snapshots of “exotic” destinations. It’s about forging genuine connections with the communities that host us, embracing the complexities of their human experience, and capturing their essence through a meaningful editorial project.

Throughout these journeys, each participant learns how to craft a compelling narrative — one that blends the evocative power of imagery with the consistency of well-crafted content. The end goal is to create a story ready to be shared with a specific audience, bringing our shared vision to life.

By contributing your skills, you’ll gain access to experiences that are rarely available to outsiders. More importantly, you’ll engage directly with the highest purpose of visual storytelling: to inspire social justice, change, unity, and hope where they are needed most.

Requirements for participation

Though our projects are demanding and immersive, prior technical experience isn’t a prerequisite. What you’ll need is good physical stamina, an open mind, adaptability, a camera (of any kind), a laptop (recommended but not essential), a pen, a notebook, and above all, a deep curiosity about others and the communities that welcome us.

Destinations

Ayzoh! projects span across Italy and around the world, touching every continent. No matter the destination, we always operate in areas familiar to our photographers or local collaborators, working closely with the communities we serve.

Logistics

For accommodations, we choose facilities that align with our ethical criteria, respect cultural identities, and bring tangible benefits to the local areas. Transportation is selected based on the location and the specific needs of the reportage—whether it’s by car, 4×4, public transit, or even sailboats.
